The Home Development Mutual Fund, commonly known as the Pag-IBIG Fund, is a government-owned savings and home financing institution in the Philippines. Created under Republic Act No. 7742, Pag-IBIG serves as both a national savings program and the country's largest source of home financing, serving over 16 million members across all sectors.

Virtual Pag-IBIG: Digital Transformation

The Virtual Pag-IBIG portal at www.pagibigfundservices.com/virtualpagibig brings the fund's complete suite of services online, available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Members can register, save, borrow, and pay without stepping into a physical branch. For members who prefer self-service, a chat feature connects them with a Lingkod Pag-IBIG service officer at any hour.

Core Services Available Online

Membership registration and permanent MID number issuance are the entry points to all Pag-IBIG services. Once registered, members can open an MP2 Savings account, which historically outperforms regular savings with dividend rates ranging from 5% to 7% per annum. Loan facilities accessible online include the Multi-Purpose Loan (MPL) for immediate cash needs, the Calamity Loan for members in disaster-declared areas, the Housing Loan for home purchase or construction, and the Home Equity Appreciation Loan (HEAL) for existing borrowers needing additional funds.

Savings and Records Management

Account holders can view their Pag-IBIG Regular Savings records with annual dividend postings, track MP2 Savings growth, check loan amortization schedules and outstanding balances, and review Loyalty Card Plus transaction history — all from the same dashboard. Payments for monthly contributions and loan amortizations can be made via online banking, GCash, or credit card directly through the portal.

Who Can Join

Membership is mandatory for private-sector employees and voluntary for self-employed individuals, OFWs, kasambahay (domestic workers), and non-working spouses. Employers are required to remit both the employee and employer shares monthly. For OFWs abroad, the portal provides a dedicated registration pathway that accommodates the lack of Philippine government-issued IDs.

For inquiries, contact the Pag-IBIG Fund hotline or visit the nearest branch. The main office is at the Pag-IBIG Fund Building, Makati City.
