Pag-IBIG Calamity Loan — Eligibility, Application, Loan Amount, and Payout During State of Calamity

The Pag-IBIG Calamity Loan provides immediate financial assistance to members in areas declared under a state of calamity. Features a lower interest rate (5.95% per annum) than the MPL.

Eligibility

Active membership with at least 24 contributions, residential address in a declared calamity area, no past-due Pag-IBIG loans, and no previous Calamity Loan for the same event. Application opens within 30 days of declaration and remains open for 60 to 90 days.

Loan Amount and Terms

Up to 80% of Total Accumulated Value, maximum P100,000. Interest rate: 5.95% per annum. Payable over 24 months with no service fee. Late payment penalty: 2% per month.

Application Process

Log in to Virtual Pag-IBIG and select 'Apply for Calamity Loan'. The system checks your address against calamity declarations. Enter the amount, upload a photo of your government ID showing your address, review terms, and submit. Approval within 3 working days on a priority basis. Proceeds credited to your enrolled bank account or GCash.

Tips

Update your address in the Pag-IBIG database before applying if you moved recently. Use GCash for faster disbursement. Apply early within the window to avoid last-minute delays.
